Running monthly on WPKN RADIO (89.5FM) for six years, Koning's show was on books and book publishing. �Literary Discord� introduced listeners to such worthy authors and poets as Benjamin DeMott, Russell Banks, Kate Finley and The Nation�s Literary Editor, Art Winslow.
Literary discord owes its title to the idea of focusing on the literary aspects of American fiction without the obsessive dwelling of our mainstream media on money, money, money, and best sellers, best sellers, best sellers.
